In November 2026, the Tartu Art Museum will open an exhibition dedicated to the artistic legacy of Raivo Järvi.
In connection with the exhibition, the museum is seeking drawings and prints by Raivo Järvi held in private collections, in order to present the artist’s oeuvre in all of its diversity: besides his widely known posters and book illustrations, works that have not previously been exhibited.
It is known that during his lifetime Raivo Järvi sold and gifted many of his works to friends, acquaintances and colleagues and, as a result, a significant part of his oeuvre remains in private collections across Estonia. The aim of the exhibition is to bring these works together and offer the public an opportunity to view the artist’s work in a more comprehensive context.
The information collected will also help the museum to map and document Raivo Järvi’s body of work and to expand the archive of his legacy for future researchers and enthusiasts.
If you own a work, please contact: stella.mottus@tartmus.ee.
