Due to the installation of new exhibitions, Tartu Art Museum and museum shop will be closed from 27 April to 22 May 2026.

Four new exhibitions will open on 23 May:

  • Kitchen Art: A Food Story Painted with a Brush, which takes visitors on a journey through the history of food in Estonian art.
  • Albert Gulk. Polar Night, featuring the artist’s drawings and watercolours from the early 1990s.
  • Karl Pärsimägi, Your Art Is Long!, focusing on the beloved painter’s oeuvre, use of colour, and the relationship between people and space in his works.
  • An exhibition of the children’s art competition.
